Wilson Disease in Monozygotic Twin


Abstract
Wilson disease (hepatolenticular degeneration) is an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by degenerative change in the brain, cirrhosis, and Kayser-Fleischer ring in the cornea.
Symptoms and manifestations are caused due to excessive accumulation of copper in liver, brain, kidney and cornea by disorders of copper metabolism.
Author experienced a case of Wilson disease in monozygotic twin and report with literature.
